Sigfox

Sigfox, a leading provider of connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT), has built a global network to connect billions of so-called “low-energy devices” to the Internet as simply as possible. Sigfox’s unique approach to device-to-cloud communications addresses the three greatest barriers to global IoT adoption: Cost, energy consumption and global scalability.

The Sigfox technology is based on a long-range radio communication, entirely dedicated to make any object to be connected to the internet and to communicate with a strong energy predictability, extracting and transporting very small messages (12 bytes) : e.g. GPS position, temperature, movement, vibration… to generate a high valuable data.
